Masonic graveside services for George Edward Droby IV, 67, of Tyler, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mr. Droby died Dec. 17, 2011 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.  He was born May 26, 1944 in Sioux City Iowa to George Droby III and Ruby Rheinholt Droby.

Mr. Droby was a high school teacher in Mesquite and was presently working as an electrical superintendent on overseas projects. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Seabees during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Palestine Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Droby was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Glenda Daniels. He is survived by his wife, Martha J. Droby of Tyler; nephew, Costine Daniels; step-daughter Melissa Wilkins and husband Scotty, step-grandsons, Alec Chol and Cole Ray Wilkins.
