Services for Adam Bishop, 28, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Palestine with the Revs. Rick Dees ad Jay Abernathy officiating. Burial will be at Land of Memory Cemetery uder the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory.
Mr. Bishop died Wednesday, January 2, 2002, in an automobile accident in northern Anderson County.
He was born November 14, 1973, in Houston. He was a 1992 graduate of Palestine High School and lived in Palestine most of his life. He was a Christian and attended First Baptist Church of Palestine. He was employed by Energy Transport Co.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John N. Bishop.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his parents, Lee and Wanda Bishop of Palestine; brother, Lee Bishop Jr. of Palestine; grandparents, Lloyd and Elsie Grasty and Rilla Bishop, all of Montalba.
Pallbearers will be Jason Starr, Doug Mullican, Matthew Herbrough, Eddy Hutchinson, Jason Pryor, and Tony Collins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Max Davis and Dan Gold.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 801 N. Sycamore, Palestine, Texas, 75801.
