Services for Scott David McKinney, 29, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Danny Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. McKinney died Saturday in Fairfield.

He was born March 16, 1976 in Palestine to David McKinney and Betty Gibson McKinney Ray

Mr. McKinney attended the Elkhart Church of Christ. At the time of his death, he was an X-rayer of pipelines with H&H Xray Company.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, R.L. McKinney, in 1996.

Mr. McKinney is survived by his mother, Betty Ray and stepfather Roger Ray of Palestine; father, David McKinney of Elkhart; maternal grandparents, Buck and June Gibson of Slocum; paternal grandparent, Jean McKinney of Elkhart; stepsisters, Miranda Ray of Palestine, Gina McDugle of Conroe and Penny Watkins of Slocum; brother, Justin McKinney of Elkhart; stepbrothers, John Watkins of Norfolk, Va., Daniel Watkins of Palestine, Cody Ray of Palestine and Dean McDugle of Conroe.

Pallbearers will be Riley Moore, Jerry Moore, Daniel Watkins, Michael Anderson, Chris Carter, Greg Gammons and Kevin Henderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hamilton, Paul Wallace, Charles Starr, Brian Anderson and Rickey Gibson.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
