Services for James “Jim” Michael Bishop, 20, of Palestine, will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dr. Tom Rousseau officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.

Mr. Bishop died Monday, July 9, 2001.

He was born April 11, 1981 in Houston to James Michael Bishop Sr. and Mary Jo Watkins Henderson.

Mr. Bishop was a rancher and a member of First Christian Church. He graduated from Palestine High School in 1999, where he was a member of the FFA. He also was a member of Harmony-Broyles Chapel 4-H.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Janis Bishop of Palestine and Mary Jo and Ronnie Henderson of McKinney; grandparents, Jim and Laura Sue Bishop of Slocum, Duane and Fern Smith of Palestine, Roy Pack and Joan Watkins of Denson Springs and Perry and Virginia Henderson of Princeton; great-grandmother, Leila Crutcher of Palestine; sisters, Grace Ann Gilbert of Dallas, Rachel Gilbert of Palestine and Jamie Henderson of McKinney; and brothers, Joe Bishop and Jess Bishop, both of Palestine.

Pallbearers will be Mark Wolf, Adam Wolf, Billy Donn Holcomb, Kirk Gilbert, Scott Pesson, Chad Commander, Andy Reed and Cody Farris.

Condolence calls will be received from 7 to 8 P.M. today at the funeral home.
