Services for Alex Steven Henley, 19, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Burial will follow in Land of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mr. Henley died Sunday in Victoria, along with his stepsister Sammie Smith, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born December 11, 1984 in Palestine to Daniel Lee Henley and Sandra Berryhill McBride.

Mr. Henley was employed with Welborn Technology as a valve tech.

He is survived by his parents, Sandra Berryhill McBride of Palestine and Daniel and Shelia Hoelscher Henley of Victoria; grandparents, Jake and Linda Allen of Palestine, Roy Henley of Houston, and George and Joy Murphy of Palestine; great-grandparents, Virginia Fox and Viola Allen, both of Palestine; sister, Dennica Henley of Palestine; and brother, Lane McBride of Palestine; stepsister, Dana Dupnik of Bandera; and stepbrother, Greg Smith of Victoria.

Pallbearers will be Rick Smith, David Allen, Steve Berryhill, Jeremy Stone, Adam Nations and Lance Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Berryhill and Douglas McNeill.

Condolence calls will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
