Services for Raymund Valdez, 19, of Palestine, will be 10 AM, Saturday (1-8-05) at Evangelistic Temple with the Rev. Danny Rodriguez officiating.

Raymund joined the Lord on Friday, December 31, 2004.  He was born March 22, 1985 to Roselio and Sally Valdez in Manila, Philippines. Raymund’s body will be cremated.

He was a member of Palestine Church and employed at Palestine Regional Medical Center in the Dietary Department. He graduated from Palestine High School in 2004 and was a scholar student at Trinity Valley Community College. He was a delight to the Filipino community and regarded as most courteous and polite. He was very sweet and loving. He will surely be missed by everyone.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Rochelle; uncles; aunts; cousins and great-cousins from California and the Philippines; and a lot of friends around the area.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 at McCoy Funeral Home in Palestine.

The Raymund Valdez Memorial Account has been set up at Hibernia National Bank to help the family with funeral expenses. Donations may be given at the bank, located at 519 N. Sycamore Street or mailed to Hibernia National Bank, Memorial Account, P.O. Box 318, Palestine, Texas 75802.
