Services for Zanna Marie Via Russell, 55, of Palestine will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Land Of Memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Palestine.

Mrs. Russell passed away Sunday in Palestine.

She was born April 1, 1954 in Palestine to Frank and Gwendolyn Johnson Via. She was a member of the Montalba Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxillary DAV. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her mother and brother Larry Lee Harris.

She is survived by her father Frank Via of Palestine; one daughter Stephanie Mendez and husband Michael of Palestine; one son James Terry Koonce and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, N.C.; one sister Patricia Ann Stovall of Houston; one brother Harium Harris of Grand Saline; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Cooper, Randy Watkins, Randy Cooper, W.H. Ward, Jim Ricard, Jim Wilmoth and Larry Via.
