Services for Mark B. Roquemore, 44, of Houston, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Chris Kenner officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Park.

Mr. Roquemore died this morning at a Houston hospital.  He was born in Palestine on September 27, 1949. He was a school teacher for 21 years, and taught at Galena Park Middle School for eight years. He was a Methodist.

Mr. Roquemore was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Grace Knutson Roquemore, on September 6, 1991.

He is survived by his father, Abb Leroy Roquemore Jr. of Palestine; sister, Nikki Calhoun of Palestine; and brother, Abb L. Roquemore III of Lufkin.

Pallbearers will be David Roquemore, Cameron Calhoun, Frank Roquemore Jr., Matt Roquemore, Abb Roquemore IV, Larry Roquemore, Robin Glen-Walker Irvine and Frederick O. Roquemore Jr.

Memorials may be made to the library of the donor’s choice or to The Leukemia Association.
