Vicky Orr passed away in Tyler on Oct. 25, 2010. She had been a resident of Tyler since 1996. She lived in Houston prior to that since 1969, where she met and married A.J. Orr. She worked in the oilfield drilling business for many years. She was employed by Triumph LOR, Drilco Oil Field Supply and Encore Drilling Co. where she held jobs in management.

She was born June 27, 1945, in Palestine to Louis P. and Evelyn Shaid Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and brother, Louis Fredrick Miller.

She is survived by two sisters, Peggy Miller Moore of Tyler, Susan Miller McDonald of Houston; four nephews, Ardon Moore III of Fort Worth, Chadd Moore of Houston, Benjamin Moore of Tyler and Matthew Moore of Amarillo; two nieces, Stacy Young and Beth Ann McDonald, both of Austin, five great-nephews; and one great-niece.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Pallbearers will be Ardon Moore III, Chadd Moore, Benjamin Moore, Matthew Moore, Eric Young and Mack McDonald.

Condolence calls will be received immediately following the service at the cemetery.
