Funeral services for Donald Ray Dressell 67 of Palestine, will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Zach officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mr. Dressell passed away Monday in Tyler. He was born January 14, 1943 in Anderson County to Tony and Verna Huggins Dressell. He was a Brakeman and Conductor for Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mr. Dressell was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara Melton and a brother Paul Dressell.

He is survived by his wife Gail Dressell of Palestine, daughter Dana Lowe and husband Tucker of Fruita, Co., son Donald Dressell, Jr. and wife Ashley of Palestine, sisters Joella Hackett of Palestine, brother Tony E. Dressell of Palestine, grandchildren Raegan Lowe, Zachary Lowe and Madison Lowe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Miller, Steve Susdorf, George Torma, Bud Wacker, Ron Wood and Ray Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Fitzgerald and Don Gage.

Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Donald was a devoted husband and father and a faithful friend to many. He left a legacy of faith to his children and grandchildren.
