Services for Frank P. Lemacks Sr., 85, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. W.S. Blanton and Dr. Jeff Cover officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Park. Mr. Lemacks died Monday at a Palestine Nursing Home. He was born in Palestine on March 14, 1909 to Arthur Luther and Mary Elizabeth Person Lemacks. He founded Lemacks Dairy with his father in 1913 and operated it until 1968.
Mr. Lemacks was an elder at First Presbyterian Church and a charter member of Noon Lions club. He was a Civil Defense Home Guard during World War II.
Mr. Lemacks is survived by his wife, Virginia Elizabeth Evans Lemacks; son, Frank Lemacks, Jr. of Palestine.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hamilton, David Slaughter, Tom Cook, Fred Gray, Hunter Williams, Newell Kane, Carroll Pouncey, Jim Bob Paxton and members of the Presbyterian Men’s Bible Class.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
