Services for Jeanna Pearl Carroll Weeks, 29, her children Jacob Cole Miller, 5 and Alicia Ann Miller, 11 and Scott Alan Weeks, 30, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church with Revs. Jeff Cover and W. W. “Doug” Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

All four members of the family died Friday night from injuries received in an automobile accident about one mile east of Palestine on U.S. 84.

Jeanna graduated in 1989 from Westwood High School. She had also attended Palestine HIgh School. She was employed as a real estate agent for Century 21 and had enrolled this semester at the University of Texas at Tyler. Jeanna was very active at the local YMCA, where she was an aerobics instructor and coached 4 – 7 year old “Rangers” youth baseball team to a successful season. She was regarded as an accomplished dancer and excelled in water sports.

Jeanna was a newlywed having married Scott on April 28, 2000 at First Presbyterian Church where the family attended. Alicia acted as flower girl and Jacob was ring bearer.

Jeanna is survived by her parents, Janice Bedre Seagler, & Billy Wayne Carroll, both of Palestine; grandparents, Pearl & Ed Bedre, and Sally Carroll, all of Palestine; sisters, Janna Kay Lumley of Austin & Jennifer Lynn Thatcher of Palestine; brother, Kelly Ray Carroll of Palestine; stepsister Kim Cadle of Florida; and stepbrother, Timothy Armstrong of Palestine.

Alicia was a 5th grade student at Westwood Elementary School, where she was active in the 4-H club and a member of a horse judging team. She played trombone in the school band and was an avid water skier.

Jacob attended Pat Jolly’s kindergarten class at Westwood Primary School. A high spirited youngster, he enjoyed playing baseball, soccer and especially loved to fish.

In addition to the above mentioned survivors, Alicia and Jacob are survived by their father, Kelley Miller of Montalba; and grandparents Annette and Melvin Miller of Palestine.

Scott Weeks graduated in 1989 from Palestine High School, where he played on the soccer team. He also enjoyed water sports, plus hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers. Scott was employed as a salesman of medical equipment.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and Robert Riley of Palestine and Clair Weeks of Baton Rouge, LA; grandfather, George A. Rice, Sr. of Palestine; sister, Korie Ann Stegall of Tyler, and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Ray Bedre, Harry Earl Bedre, Barry Russell Bedre, Kelly Ray Carroll, Hollis Thatcher, Scott Lumley, Kimberly Ann Cadle, Chad Morrow, Bubba Bedre, Richard Farris, Michael Anderson, Roger Carroll, Dean Darr, Robert Scalapino, Jon S. Brown, Chad Rampy, Gregg Garner, Rand Henderson, Ronnie Stegall, John Paul Riley, Justin Killion, Phil Fletcher, and Michael D. Foster.

Family members will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Palestine.
