Ann Lee Turner 1951
Ann Lee Turner, 77, formerly of Perryton, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on July 5, 2011, surrounded by her family, after a 10-year bout with cancer. She will be remembered for her smile and beautiful spirit. Her love of life, family and friends were her greatest joys, her spunk and sense of humor were endearing and her courage and grace inspiring.
Survivors include a son, Paige and his wife Kelly Goodwin Close of Germantown, Tenn.; a son, Lee and his wife Nicole Edwards Close of Yukon, Canada; a daughter, Paris Close of Branson; grandsons, Ryan Close of Oxford, Miss., Christopher Close of Germantown and Cameron Close of Germantown; a sister, Mary Byars Briscoe of Devine, Texas; former husband, Donald Rogers of Dadeville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and beloved cat, Jazz.
In keeping with her wishes her body has been donated to the Medical Education and Research Institute Genesis Donor Program.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at the Branson Christian Church.
