Bina Rogers Clancy, age 96, died peacefully in her home on December 2, 2011. She was the eighth child born to W.J. and Lucy Rogers on September 20, 1915 in Palestine Texas.

Bina is survived by her daughter, Dr. Catherine Clancy, multiple nieces and nephews and devoted friends and caregivers.

She retired from Bay Houston Towing Company and spent many happy years traveling with her daughter. She was active in the Altar Society at St. Anne Catholic Church and was a board member of the Sienna Club at the University of St. Thomas.

Her daughter, Dr. Clancy, will receive friends on Monday, December 5th, from five until eight o’clock in the evening at the Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 W. Alabama Street in Houston.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
