Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Sue Evans, 40, of Tyler will be held at 2 p.m. today at Tyler’s Dixie Baptist Church.

Burial services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Banks, Walker, Tippit Funeral Home.

Mrs. Evans, a former resident of Palestine, died Friday in Tyler Medical Center after a short illness.

She was born in Palestine July 14, 1940 and had lived in Tyler the last 14 Years.

Survivors include her husband Clarence Evans of Tyler, her parents Voddie and Lucy Arnold of Palestine, son Lee Evans of Tyler, one daughter, Rene Evans of Tyler, and one sister Christine Scarborough of Palestine.
