Services for Harry Hugh Parrish, 59, of Texas City and formerly of Palestine were held Tuesday at Emken & Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.  Burial was in Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Mr. Parrish died Aug. 26 at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

He graduated from Palestine High School.

Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Adell Parrish of Texas City; mother, Querida Nichols of Texas City; daughters, Annette Carswell of Lufkin, Stephanie Hogan of Santa Fe, Texas and Amy Leigh Parrish of Galveston; and one grandchild.  He is survived locally by an uncle and four cousins.
