Services for Bettie Davis, 57, of Whitehouse and formerly of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Dogwood Hills Baptist Church with Dr. H.B. Graves officiating.  Burial will follow at Chambers Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mrs. Davis died Tuesday at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

She was born Feb. 10, 1940 in Wortham to Cucil (G.C.) and Claudie Martin Rogers.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a charter member of Dogwood Hills Baptist Church.  She was a present member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Tyler.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Davis of Whitehouse; daughters, Nelda Davis of Whitehouse and Laura Davis of Tyler, sons, Tommy Davis of Sherman and Steven Davis of Dallas; sisters, Juanita Prater of Deer Park and Lois Smith of Houston; a brother, Bobby Rogers of Montalba; and two grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Eric LeGard, Brad Wilkinson, Mario Maldonado, Billy Guice, Neal French and Todd Hollingsworth.

Concolence calls will be received from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
