Services for Addie Marie Mims Lasater, 68, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Kelvin Reed officiating. Burial will be in Carroll Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mrs. Lasater passed away Saturday in Palestine.
She was born Feb. 29, 1940, in Anderson County to Addie Carl and Hettie Mae White.
Mrs. Lasater worked for Bealls General Office in Jacksonville and retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jeffrey Glenn Mims.
Mrs. Lasater is survived by her husband, Gerald Lasater of Palestine; daughters, Tina Moore and husband Ronnie of Flo, Angela Hart and husband Glen of Jacksonville, and Jennifer Horrell and husband Jeff of Edgewood; sons, Tony Mims and wife Shelia of Jacksonville, Alan Mims of Rusk, Robbie Mims and wife Christie of Biloxi, Miss., and Wayne Lasater and wife Casey of Edgewood; a sister Emma Jo Stringfield; 21 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Hart, Jeff Stringfield, Jason Stringfield, David Stringfield, T.J. Cannon, and Danny Matthews.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
