Services for Alvin O. Ezell, 69, of Richardson, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie. Burial will follow at noon at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Ezell died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Richardson after a sudden illness. He was born January 18, 1933, to Andrew and Mittie Ezell.
Mr. Ezell had been a resident of Richardson since 1966. He was a graduate of Palestine High School. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a tool and machine designer for Fisher Controls International in McKinney. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson.
Mr. Ezell was preceded in death by sisters, Ona Mae Thompson and Opal Malone; and brother, H.M. Ezell.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Harolyn Ezell of Richardson; sisters, Bettie Parow of Arlington and Mable Hagood of Clovis, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church of Richardson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
