Services for Fred W. Heaton Jr., 48, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Glenn officiating. Burial will be at Guiceland Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Heaton died Sunday, July 23, 1995, at Trinity Valley Medical Center in Palestine.  He was born in Memphis, Tenn., on January 9, 1947.  Mr. Heaton was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church and a member of the church vestry. He was a member of Palestine Rotary Club and Sigma Nu Fraternity.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Dee Cunningham Heaton.

Mr. Heaton is survived by his wife, Caron Heaton of Palestine; Fred W. Heaton Sr. of Palestine; and sons, Chris Heaton and Trey Heaton, both of Lewisville, and Tim Heaton of Lubbock.

Pallbearers will be Steve Presley, Ronnie Calhoun, George Torma, Steve Parker, Bruce Barber, Bill Knowles, Harry Toole, and Tim Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Robert McFarlane, Bud Scheppler, and Dwain Harris.

Condolence calls will be received from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
