Services for Robert Arthur Locke, 72, formerly of Palestine will be at noon Monday at Veterans Funeral Home Chapel in Houston. Burial, with full U.S. Marine Corps Honors, will follow at 2 p.m. in Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Veterans Funeral Services, Houston.

Mr. Locke died Wednesday, December 12, 2001.  He was born November 17, 1929 in Palestine to Clyde F. and Mary O. Locke.  Mr. Locke was a retired 20 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and worked in Houston.

He is survived by a son, Christopher M. Locke, daughters, Jennifer Dubois, Libby A. Costa and Mary Kay Howe.
