Services for Everett Knox, 56, of Route 8, Magnolia Ferry Road, Palestine, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Bailey & Foster Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Otis Felton officiating. Burial will be at Fort Houston Cemetery.

Mr. Knox died Thursday July 2, 1987.

He was born in Anderson County on November 19, 1930, a son of Elba C. and Lora Mae Burke Knox. Before retiring, he was employed in maintenance at Glass Containers Corp. for 37 years. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Knox of Palestine; daughters, Cy Ann Manley and Shawn Starkey, both of Palestine; sons, Elba Knox of Nacogdoches and Charles Everett Knox of Baytown; his mother, Mrs. Elba C. (Lora Mae) Knox of Palestine; sisters, Kay Starr of Freeport and Linna Vaughan of Palestine; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Turner, Sammy Turner, Jerry Don Turner, Jimmy Turner, David Turner and James Banks.
