Services for Frances Kale Peterson, 69, of Tacoma, Washington, were held Wednesday in Tacoma.

She was born September 9, 1930, in Anderson County.  Mrs. Peterson attended Springfield, Montalba and Palestine schools. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1947.

Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Peterson; and son, Gary Pate.

She is survived by son, Randy Peterson of Tacoma; daughter, Tanya Peterson of Tacoma; mother, Hazel Kale Gray of Athens; and brother, Arnold Kale of Palestine.
