Services for Betty Hilton Gray, 78, of Groesbeck will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel in Palestine with Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery near Elkhart.

Mrs. Gray died Wednesday in Groesbeck.

She was born October 28, 1927, in Mexia to Lee and Hazel Hamilton Hilton.

Mrs. Gray lived in Groesbeck for the past eight years, coming from Palestine where she had lived most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Gray in 1993; daughter, Nikki Lynn Gray in 1980; and sister, Peggy Smith.

Mrs. Gray is survived by her son, Bill Gray and wife Karen of Palestine; one sister, Marilee Hilton Rogers of Palestine; and two grandchildren, Will Gray and Courtney Knott.

Pallbearers are Steve Gray, Joe Gray, Scott Gray and James Gray.
