Services for Marianne Hudson Greene, 69 of Conroe and formerly of Palestine will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Palestine with the Rev. Greg Megill officiating.

Mrs. Greene died Saturday at her Conroe residence.

She was born in Palestine on May 4, 1929. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1946 and attended Lindenwood College in Missouri.

Mrs. Greene was employed by Texas Metal Fabricating in Houston for 19 years. She moved to Conroe in 1985

She is survived by her husband, Talmadge “Doc” Greene of Conroe; brother, A.J. Hudson of Palestine; daughters, Deborah Howard Dickson of San Antonio and Cindy Howard Shelton of Odessa; stepdaughter, Pam Dake of Houston; and six grandchildren.
