Services for Frank R. Bush, 71, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Park.

Mr. Bush died this morning at Memorial Mother Francis Hospital.

He was born March 2, 1928, in Palestine, to Henry Cason and Fannie Sullivan Bush.

Mr. Bush was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Glass Containers Corporation as a forming machine operator. He worked also as a real estate agent for Hall Real Estate. He was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ and the Dogwood Square Dancers Association. He was a former local chairman of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association.

Mr. Bush is survived by his wife, Patsy Stendebach Bush of Palestine; daughters, Brenda Beazley of Palestine and Cathy Basso of Houston; sons, Richard Bush of Brenham, Thomas “Rusty” Bush of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Michael Morris of Athens and Gerald Morris Sr. of Palestine; one sister, Ella Dorothy Thomas of Martens; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Morris Jr., Chad Michael Morris, Jason Carl Morris, George Trezise, Don Bell, Dale Sparks, Scott Basso and Jack Beazley.
