Services for Betty Ray Kelly, 78, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Dees officiating. Burial will follow in Neches City Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Kelly died Monday at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.  She was born March 20, 1928 in Anderson County to Lawrence and Estelle Delaney Ray.  Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker. She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orval Kelly, in 1999; and a brother, Lawrence E. Ray.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by her daughters, Cathy Honea and husband Bobby, Pat Eubanks and husband Kenneth; sons, Mike Kelly and wife Bonnie, Kevin Kelly and wife Vicki, all of Palestine, and Joe Kelly of Bois d’ Arc; sisters, Dorothy Albritton of Ruston, La., Lois Williams of Tatum and Ann Bambeck of Tyler; brother, Bob Ray of Richardson, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
