Services for Linda J. Riley, 60, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with Dr. Barry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Riley died Saturday morning at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 4, 1946 in Indiana to George A. and Edith Rice Sr. She lived in Palestine most of her life where she graduated from Palestine High School in 1964. Linda was a graduate of the TJC nursing school and held a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Tyler. She worked as a nurse at Palestine hospitals for many years. She was a member of Evangelistic Temple.

Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her mother, and son, Scott Weeks.

She is survived by her husband Robert W. Riley of Palestine; daughters Korie Weeks Stegall and husband Ronnie of Bullard, and Kellie Reeder and husband David of Palestine; son John Paul Riley of Waxahachie; father George A. Rice Sr. of Elkhart; brother George A. Rice Jr. of Mesquite and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Riley, David Reeder, Ronnie Stegall and Kenneth Stegall.

The family will receive condolences from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
