Services for Martin Anthony Davey III, 50, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Land of Memory Cemetery with Chris Kolstad officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Davey died Tuesday after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Fort Worth on January 1, 1946.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Anthony Davey Jr. in 1963 and Johnnie Belle McDonald Davey in 1978.

Mr. Davey was an investor in oil and gas leases.

He is survived by a son, Chris Amico Davey of Lewisville.
