Graveside services for Joel Robert Naismith, 59, of Longview will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Rosewood Park with the Rev. Gregg Zackary officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Mr. Naismith died Friday at his residence.

He was born March 12, 1945 in Palestine to Joe and Dorothy Naismith.

Mr. Naismith was a resident of Palestine before moving to Longview 30 years ago. He was a machinist for Rexam Can Co. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Hallsville Masonic Lodge No. 169 and was a Shriner. He was a member of the Mustang Patrol.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Diann; sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Sam Naismith of Gilmer and Brad and Tammy Naismith of Longview; grandchildren, Fali, Makayla, Tanner, Baylee and Chloey Naismith; mother, Dorothy Naismith of Palestine; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Kathryn Naismith and Ricky and Rhonda Naismith of Palestine; several nieces and nephews.
