Funeral services for Richard Floyd (Ricky) Henderson, Jr. 25, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Bailey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Carroll Fancher and the Rev. Denman Easterling officiating. Burial will follow in New Addition Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson, who was injured while on active duty in Vietnam, spent a year in a military hospital before returning to Palestine to make his home. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Named as active pallbearers are Jerry Flanagan, Allen Brent, Larry Dublin, Jimmy Singletary, Jon Gregg, Jimmy Seale, Jack Bolton and Cenovio Rodriquez. Honorary pallbearers are Marty Davey, Darrell May and Joe Ard.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his widow, Mrs. De Loris Price Henderson of Jacksonville; one son, David Henderson of Elkhart; a daughter, Miss Susan Henderson of Elkhart; two step-sons, Ronnie and Ritchie Middlebrook of Jacksonville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Henderson of Palestine; a sister, Mrs. Alfred Weir of Palestine; and his grandmother, Mrs. A. W. Henderson of Palestine.
