Services for George William Bridges III, 54, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. today at New Addition Cemetery in Palestine with Roy Bowman officiating. He was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.

Mr. Bridges was born November 16, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to George William Bridges Jr. and Jean Harmon Poland. He lived in Dallas County for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Palestine High School.

He is survived by daughters, Tracy L. Bridges of Carrollton and Kelly R. Moore of Pflugerville; son, William Eric Bridges of Carrollton; mother, Jean Harmon Poland of Florida; sister, Janet Brown of McKinney; and two grandchildren.
