Services for Larry Ray Neel, 54, of Garland and formerly of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Strongs Memorial Cemetery in Anderson County with the Rev. Todd Chapman officiating.

Mr. Neel died Friday February 19, 1999 at Baylor Hospital.

He was born August 15, 1944, in Palestine, to Dale and Rachel Neel.

Mr. Neel was a member of the Garland Bass Club and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Neel.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Neel of Garland; father and stepmother, Dale and Nita Neel of Denson Springs; daughters, Kim Fonville of Garland, Karen Beaver of Palestine and Kellie Warner of Michigan; brother, David Neel of Oakwood; sisters, Ruth Mitchell of Athens, Carol Wise of Bryan, Virginia Cooper of Palestine and Bobbie Smith of Tyler; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Fonville, Ed Beaver, Brent Warner, Stanley Paine, Harold Paine, Gary Campbell, Ron Rose and Eddie Rickman.
