Services for Carol Marie Lively, 53, of Jefferson, will be at noon Saturday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with the Rev. Bill Rawlings officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Mrs. Lively died Thursday in a Longview hospital.  She was born May 24, 1944, in Palestine, and had been a resident of Jefferson for four years after moving from Longview.

Mrs. Lively was a homemaker and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity United Church of Christ in Longview.

She is survived by her husband, A.D. Lively of Jefferson; daughters, Cynthia Carol Hicks of Buda and Audra Diane Wells of Jefferson; sisters, Ann Platt, Lela Calloway, Patsy Black and Tammy Young, all of Palestine, and Shirley Moore of Longview; brothers, Mark Kirkwood and James Kirkwood, both of Palestine; parents, J.O. and Sallie Kirkwood, both of Palestine; and two granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
