Kay Gandy, 62, of Flint, passed away Thursday October 19, 2006 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. No services are planned at this time; arrangements are under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home, Tyler.

Ms. Gandy was born February 4, 1944, in Kenton, Ohio, to J. Henry and Helen Curl Bice.  Ms. Gandy received her masters degree in education and taught in the Fort Worth Independent School District.

Survivors include her parents, of Flint, one son, Sam Gandy of Ft. Worth and brothers Jim Bice of Tyler and Richard Bice of Plano.
