Graveside services for Earl “Bud” Bennett, 64, of Lindale, formerly of Neches, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Neches Cemetery with the Rev. Todd White officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Palestine.

Mr. Bennett died Sunday at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born October 29, 1943 in Anderson County to James Crawford and Fannie Evans Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a Baptist and employed as a surveyor.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Bennett is survived by three brothers, Billy Bennett of Palestine, James Bennett of Lindale and Dr. Larry Bennett of Greenforest, Ark.; one stepsister, one stepbrother; a stepmother, Aline Bennett: and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Davis, Casey Conley, Michael Bennett, Tim Bennett, Tommy Bennett and John Baker.
