Memorial services for Jane Routh Nickle, 67, of Palestine will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Philips Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ted Welty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mrs. Nickle died Thursday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 23, 1943 in Muskogee, Okla., to the Rev. Joe Mack Routh and Gwendolyn Kerr Routh.

Mrs. Nickle was employed for 20 years with Texas Department of Correction as an LVN and was a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, the Rev. Dyson Venn Nickle Sr.

Mrs. Nickle is survived by a daughter, Pynne Nickle Floresca of Lake Ridge, Va.; two sons, Dyson V. Nickle Jr., of Wells, and Joe Lawrence Nickle of Shreveport, La.; three sisters, Joan Lohbauer of Palestine, Mary Elizabeth Smith of Little Rock, Ark., and Catherine Anne Watson of Palestine; two brothers, Joe Mack Routh Jr. and Clay Lawrence Routh, both of Houston; and eight grandchildren.
