Graveside services for Joanna McDonald Davis, 66, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Roselawn Park in Palestine. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster.

Joanna passed away on September 17, 2009 in Palestine after a courageous struggle with cancer.

She was born in Palestine on May 12, 1943 to Walter H. and Mattie Jean McDonald.

Joanna graduated from Palestine High School where she was a cheerleader and attended Tyler Jr. College. She was retired from Lakeview Methodist Assembly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Joanna is survived by her daughter, Susan Harris and husband Jeff of Palestine; sister, Linda Duphorne and husband Frank of Bullard; brother, Walter McDonald of Palestine; two grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.

Joanna was known as a good, kind, honest and caring person and she will be eternally missed by her beloved family and friends.

Condolence calls will be received at the service.
