Funeral services for Henry Frank Vyskocil, 42, of Alamo, California, were held Tuesday in the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Kraps and Dawn Boyd officiating. Burial was in the Alamo Cemetery.

Mr. Vyskocil died suddenly June 22 while vacationing with his family in Southern California.

A son of Amethyst Vyskocil of Palestine and the late H. H. “Hiney” Vyskocil, he was born June 5, 1942, in Palestine.

He graduated from Palestine High School, the University of Houston and St. Mary’s College. He also attended Texas Tech University. He was employed by Sohio Petroleum Co., serving as a project manager out of the company’s San Francisco office with responsibility for design and construction of production facilities on the North Slope of Alaska at Prudhoe Bay.

He served the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church in several capacities and also was a member of the administrative board and the building committee.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hodnett Vyskocil; two sons, Mark Vyskocil and Brad Vyskocil, and his mother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church, 902 Danville Blvd., Alamo, Calif.
