Services for Jack G. Steadman, 59, of Garland, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at New Liberty Baptist Church of Garland with the Rev. Ken Ashlock officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart under the direction of Williams Funeral Directors of Garland.

Mr. Steadman died on Wednesday.  He was a truck driver. After retirement he owned and operated a tree-trimming business. He was a member of the Dallas Model A Club.

Mr. Steadman was preceded in death by daughter, Stacey Steadman; father, Frank Steadman; and brother James Steadman.

He is survived by daughter, Susan of Rockwall; his mother, Ruby White of Palestine; a half-brother, Harold F. Steadman of Palestine; and two grandchildren.
