Services for Larry W. Curry, 56, of Elkhart, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Revs. Willie Reagan and Dennis Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.

Mr. Curry died Monday at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler.

He was born May 14, 1942, in Palestine, to R.W. “Bill” and Jewel Meredith Curry.

Mr. Curry graduated from Palestine High School in 1960 and from Stephen F. Austin University in 1965 with a degree in accounting. He retired from Dow Chemical after more than 28 years as an economical evaluator. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Kennedy Curry of Elkhart; daughters, Kristi Curry Lauw of Brazoria and Meredith Leigh Curry of Tyler; son, Will “Greg” Curry of Lake Jackson; brother, Jimmy Curry of Palestine; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Curry, Davis Kilgo, Johnny Brooks, Alan Curry, Doug Curry, Chick Springer, Luther Gulledge and Harold Denson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Curry, Gregg Curry, Rick Lauw, Bryan Lauw, E.E. ‘Buddy’ Kennedy and James Curry.
