Services for Ted C. Campbell, 58, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Benny Burlison officiating.

Mr. Campbell died Monday at the Veterans Administration hospital in Shreveport.  He was born March 7, 1941, in Palestine, to Wilce M. Campbell Jr. and Vera Margaret Stone Campbell.

Mr. Campbell was a 1960 graduate of Palestine High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed at Palestine Printing Company as a printer.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jeffcoat Campbell of Palestine; sons, Bobby G. Hamby of Haughton, La., and Petty Officer Byron G. Hamby of Kingsbay Naval Base, Ga.; sisters, June Tobin of Mobile, Ala., Mary Sherman and Julia Newton, both of Palestine, and Margie Thompson of Oakwood; brothers, Retired Master Chief Donald R. Campbell and Steve Campbell of Palestine.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Sherman, Thomas Tobin, Frank Schwab, David Lambright Jr., David Lee Warren and Bobby G. Hamby III.
