Services for Thomas M. Colley, 76, of Kerrville, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Colley died Wednesday at Sid Peterson Hospital in Kerrville. He was born on August 10, 1926 in Port Arthur to Thomas Milton Colley Sr. and Dorothy Davey Colley.
Mr. Colley was a stock broker. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He attended Palestine High School and the Shriner Institute in Kerrville. Mr. Colley received a geology degree from the University of Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Colley III.
Mr. Colley is survived by his wife, Janice Colley of Kerrville; daughters, Ann Colley Fowler of Hutto, Susan Colley Joplin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bennett, Dr. John McCall, David Sprowl, Ernest Swift, Paul Elliott and Marley Styner. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Phillips, Robert Smith, Don Hoot, Harry Roberts, John R. Freeland and George Etz.
Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
