Funeral services will be held at Bailey Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday for Miss Gertrude Gamba, chief dietician at the Veterans Hospital in Kerrville, who died there suddenly Monday.

Rev. John E. McLean will officiate and burial will be in New Addition Cemetery.  She was the sister of Mrs. Marguerite Vaughn of Palestine, who survives.

The family requests that donations be made to the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.

Miss Gamba held an honorary membership in the Palestine Assembly of Rainbow Girls.  After graduating from Palestine High School in 1928, she attend TSCW (now Texas Woman’s University) in Denton and received a bachelor degree and later obtained a Master’s from a university in Michigan.
