Services for Loneta June Jones, 82, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crockett Road Church of Christ with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood City Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday at her residence.

She was born June 1, 1924 in Blackfoot Community to Robert (Lonnie) and Hattie Gray Gatewood. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of the Crockett Road Church of Christ.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Jones; a son, Mac Jones; a sister, Dorthella Lewis; and a brother, Jack Gatewood.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Whitley and husband Mike of Palestine; a son, Jerry Jones of Montalba; a sister, Norma Watson of Bryan; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Wolf, Bart Jones, Michael Henderson, Richard Jones, Stacy Chriswell and Mark Wolf.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
