Services for Mary Elizabeth Triplett, 77, Dallas, formerly of Palestine, are scheduled for 3 p.m.. Friday at St. Phillips Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Glenn officiating.

Memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Episcopal Church of Dallas with the Rev. Canon Jandy officiating.

Burial will be in Land of Memory Cemetery under direction of Bailey and Foster F`uneral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Triplett died August 19, 2001 at her residence.  She was’born January 8; 1924 in Palestine to the late Edwin Morris and Odell Elrod Lackey.  She was a homemaker, and member of St. Matthew Episcopal Church of Dallas, Democratic Party and involved in volunteer activities.

Survivors include daughter Marianne Howells, Dallas; sons Richard Triplett, Dallas, and John Triplett, Germany; brothers, Edwin Lockey, Dallas, and Jimmy Lockey, Mesquite; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Andrew Triplett, Adam Howells, Tim Howells, Jimmy Luckey, Ed Lockey and Rick Triplett.

Family will receive friends 2 p.m. Friday at St. Phillips Episcopal Church.
