Services for Lula C. Dublin, 80, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Waters officiating.  Burial will be at Fields Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Dublin died Friday morning in a local nursing home.  She was born January 9, 1914 in Palestine to Columbus Washington and Ossie Fellman Deerman.  Mrs. Dublin was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist church of Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Palmer Dublin, Sr. in 1980 and a granddaughter, Sanda Kay Linn in 1985.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Dublin Linn of Palestine; sons, Hugh Dublin, Jr., of Tennessee Colony and Larry Joe Dublin of Corsicana; sisters, Roberta Darsey of Palestine and Marie Covington of Waco; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
