Helen J Howard, born August 8, 1922, passed away July 28th, 2007 after a short illness. Helen graduated Palestine High School in 1940, and then moved to Dallas in 1941. She worked for Western Union until her retirement in the mid 1960’s. Helen enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling during her retirement.

Helen is survived by her sister, Savilla Howard, and brother: G. R. Howard, both of Dallas.

Helen will be in state Monday, July 30th, 2007 at Grove Hill Funeral Home until 8 P.M. Services will be held Tuesday, July 31st at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be help at 3 P.M. at the Broyles Chapel Cemetery in Palestine, Texas
