Services for Rubye Trigg, 72, of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will be at Guiceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Trigg died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Anderson County on October 17, 1922, to Oscar and Mable Wilkie Broughton. She was a sales clerk. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Palestine.

Mrs. Trigg is survived by her husband, Hayden Trigg of Palestine; daughters, Sharon Bragg of Tyler and Becky Craft of Palestine; son, Randy Trigg of Palestine; brothers, Oscar Broughton Jr. of Houston and Ted Broughton of Palestine; and several grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, John Morris, Jim Crook, Jim Thornell, Donald Bethrum and Billy Crutcher.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cartmell Home for the Aged.
