Services for Virginia Bozeman Walding, 83, of Baton Rouge, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Jay Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the Frankston City Cemetery.
Mrs. Walding died Thursday in Baton Rouge Nursing Home. She was born December 2, 1922 in Palestine to James Bozeman and Ruth Hughes Bozeman. Mrs. Walding was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jack P. Walding, who died in 1983.
Mrs. Walding is survived by daughter, Deborah Walding and husband Tiger Drake of Baton Rouge; son, J. Craig Walding and wife Dina of Houston; and five grandchildren, Danny Minter of Lanoka, N.J., Jared, Devan and Joel Walding, all of Nova Scotia, Canada; and a granddaughter, Maria Walding of Houston.
Pallbearers will be Danny Minter, Jared Walding, Devan Walding, Joel Walding, Tiger Drake and Craig Walding.
Condolence calls will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
